A great feature of RentlPOS is the ability to easily create and bill house accounts. House accounts are post paid credit accounts that let your more established customers, and larger commercial accounts rent from you on a post-paid basis. When creating a house account you'll be able to set a credit limit, and that account can be used for rentals.
With house accounts, RentlPOS automatically send out customer statements each month on the 2nd of the month for all house accounts that have a balance due. Customers recieve their statements via Email and have the ability to pay their balance online in full or partial payments.
House accounts are a great way to reward customers that have good rental histories with you, as they enable the rental of inventory with delayed payment. This is especially welcomed for big commercial accounts and contractors who usually rely on their customers paying for the project to recover the money they spent with you.
From your RentlPOS Dashboard, navigate to the "Customers" page and search for the customer you want to open a house account for.
Click on edit Customer for that account, and click on the "Open House Account" button. You'll then be able to edit the initial credit limit for the house account.
Once the house account is opened, it will appear as a payment method when creating new orders for that customer.
